After meeting Sonia Gandhi, Ashok Gehlot says that the one-line proposal is our tradition, but he was not allowed to do it either. Such a situation was created that this could not happen, it was my moral responsibility. But even after being CM, he could not do this.
Ashok Gehlot while talking to the media said, “I spoke to Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi. Whatever happened two days ago, it shook us. It gave the message that all this happened because I wanted to be the CM. I have apologized to him.”
Gehlot said the internal issues raised within the party before the elections would be resolved soon. He said that there is internal discipline in the party which helped it despite the decline in its Lok Sabha numbers and it remains a national party. He said that there is discipline in the party under the leadership of Sonia ji.
