Defense Minister Rajnath Singh meets the personnel of the Indian Army’s DAO Division at Dinjan Military Station in Assam on Wednesday (September 28, 2022) . During this he interacted with the soldiers. Army Chief Manoj Pandey was also present along with Rajnath Singh. The jawans sang the song “Sandhe Aate Hain” during this time and the Defense Minister was also seen humming the song with them.

A video of him with the soldiers has surfaced. In this, the Defense Minister is standing with a cup of tea in his hand and the jawans are singing the song “Sandesh Aate Hain” from the Bollywood film Border. In the video, Rajnath and the army chief are also seen humming along with the soldiers.

During this, the Minister was briefed by GOC 3 Corps officials about the infrastructure development along the LAC as well as capacity development and operational preparedness. Thereafter, they were also briefed about state-of-the-art military equipment and technology to enhance the operational efficiency of the frontline soldiers.

Let us inform that the Defense Minister had reached Dibrugarh on Wednesday as part of a three-day Northeast tour . During this he had evening tea with the soldiers of the Indian Army at Dinjan Military Station and interacted with them.

Significantly, Rajnath Singh reached Assam during his three-day Northeast tour. According to information received from sources, the Defense Minister will go to Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday. In Arunachal, he will oversee activities like road construction and tunnel construction by the Border Roads Organization (BRO) on the India-China border. Rajnath Singh will visit forward posts during his Arunachal visit and also get information about operational preparedness.

Rajnath will interact with members of the second religious campaign of the local Idu Mishmi tribe’s annual trek Athu Popu, which is being facilitated by the Army as part of the Indian Army’s outreach since last year, to support local people and development.
